Water Quality: Start with clean water, preferred to start with reverse osmosis water or demineralized water. If using tap water, it is recommended to have a starting EC of 0.4 mS/cm or lower.
Step 1
Fill your water reservoir with 80% of your intended end volume with lukewarm water (20 - 25 °C). This means if you want 1000 liters of nutrient solution, you start with 800 liters of water.
Step 2
Add the recommended dosage of DGP Base 1 for reference you can use one of the grow guides on the website. Mix the reservoir well. The reservoir is properly mixed if the EC becomes stable.
Step 3
Now add the recommended dosage of DGP Base 2 for reference you can use one of the grow guides on the website. Mix the reservoir well. The reservoir is properly mixed if the EC becomes stable.
Step 4
When applicable add the recommended dosage of additive (like DGP Green Summum) for reference you can use one of the grow guides on the website. Mix the reservoir well. The reservoir is properly mixed if the EC becomes stable. If you want to add a second additive wait for the EC to fully stabilize again before continuing with the next step.
Step 5
Top off the water reservoir to 100% of your intended end volume with lukewarm water (20 - 25 °C).
Step 6
Check pH level. pH-balance is crucial. Test and adjust your nutrient solution pH to the optimal range (Coco pH: 5.9-6.3) or (Soil pH: 6.0-6.5) before watering plants.
Water your plants directly from your reservoir. In case of a feeding computer or dosatron set-up, please refer to a DGP grow guide.
Apply the DGP nutrient solution with every irrigation event to supply the plant with balanced nutrient ratio frequently.
DGP nutrients and additives can be used in all types of growing systems, including hydroponics, aeroponics, soil and coco-based setups.
